(untitled)

My name is Mary O'Filihaun. I am telling you this story about my friend and I. It takes place in eighteen sixty-four (1864) in England. I lived on Charles Way. I loved my street. It bakced into the woods and ended at the moor. A moor is a huge feild with vines and heather growing in it. Its quite ugly in winter and dull weather. But let me get on with the story. My friend, Amanda, lives on Mayor Ct. A block away. Amanda and I loved gardens. We still do. Now, up here in heaven we have gardens to remember this Breathtaking experience. We were walking along the moor one sunny day. Amanda was in a happy mood. She was smiling and whirling around. Suddenly she said, "let's go to the Cathedril gardens." I looked happy as added "lets go into the Catherdil also. Its so creepy on Saturdays when no ones there." Amanda gave me a wink and a smile then said, "Great, come on." We ran as fast as we could across the moor, into the woods, out of the woods, down my street, and in my house. We were panting with exastion. Mom! I blurted out in confusion. "I mean, Father! Can Amanda and I go to The Catherdril gardens?" My father was in the den smoking a cigar, "yes, but only if your home by seven o'clock. he said. We giggle and left without answering.
